Summary
By accessing or using the Municipal Resolution Circulation Platform (the "platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Eligibility and accounts
- The platform is provided for authorised municipal staff and officials. Access is granted by the administrator following an access request.
- You must use your work email address. Your municipality is determined by your email domain, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Sign-in links are single-use and personal to you. Do not share them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful, confidential, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Attempt to access resolutions, documents, or accounts you are not authorised to view.
- Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the platform's security or operation.
- Use the platform to distribute malware or to misrepresent your identity or municipality.
Content you submit
- You retain responsibility for the resolutions and information you upload, and confirm you are authorised to share them with other municipalities.
- By uploading content, you permit the platform to store it and display it to other registered municipalities as part of the service.
- The administrator may remove or archive content that violates these terms.
Availability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may be a proof of concept or pilot service, and availability, features, and data retention are not guaranteed.
This service is in the early stages of development and is provided without warranty. At this time it is a beta personal project and a proof of concept.
Cost
The platform is currently provided free of charge, on an as-is basis. Should the project grow over time and require additional resources to sustain, a fair and reasonable fee structure may be introduced down the road. If that ever happens, it will be communicated clearly and with advance notice — there will be no surprises.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes and termination
The operator may update these terms or suspend or terminate access at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
